FAQS 1
What Will It Cost?
We provide costs and a written estimate, which can be adjusted at any time. And remember you do not have to have anything you do not want.
Do You Provide Any After Funeral Service?
Having the funeral that you want, knowing you carried out the
wishes of the person you loved, is a comfort, but it is usually
during the following weeks and months that people experience the
deepest grief. It is a very vulnerable time. That is why our
support doesn't end with the funeral. We can put you in touch
with bereavement specialists, counsellors and probate advisors -
whatever you feel would be most appropriate.
What Type Of Service Can I Have?
A traditional funeral service? A non-religious service? A
thanksgiving for their life? Or one that emphasises particular
spiritual values? Many churches are now happy to combine a
traditional service with poems and wisdom teachings.
Or you could have a service written especially for the occasion. We can put you in touch with Interfaith Ministers who will devise a ceremony which is both original and highly meaningful. Where Can The Ceremony Be Held?
Many people who are not regular worshippers still prefer a religious service in church. The kind of service you choose can be held at a burial ground, crematorium, or any approved meeting place. You may also like the idea of an open air ceremony.
Can Friends And Family Be Involved In The Ceremony?
Often they welcome an opportunity to take part in the ceremony.
This may include singing a hymn or a song, reading a bible text
or poem, giving a short remembrance speech or lighting a memorial
candle.
