Masters & Son is a small, independent family firm, with no other branches. We have been in the same village, in the same family for over 150 years. Supporting and helping people at the most difficult time in their lives is not only a family tradition, it's a vocation.
We have the flexibility to provide you with exactly what you want and the experience to give you all the support you need.
We also understand that bereavement can be a tremendous shock and organising a funeral can seem daunting.

How Do You Make The Right Decisions?

We believe everyone should have the funeral they want, one that reflects and respects individuality. That is why we do not sell packages. Whether you want our involvement to be minimal or total, we are here to support you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
We look after every funeral personally. Our hands-on approach guarantees that all arrangements are precisely as you want them.

What Happens When You call Us?

We arrange to talk with you in your home or invite you to come to us. Our meetings focus is totally on you, your feelings and the wishes of the person who has so recently left. We'll discuss choices and options, and discover the best way to celebrate their life and mourn your loss.
At our first meeting you may simply want to talk things through, find out what is available. Or you might decide straight away.

Some people welcome the opportunity to become involved with the arrangements; others wish to leave all the practicalities to us. If you change your mind about any aspect of these arrangements, please don't feel embarrassed. We always allow time for changes. If you wish to add, amend, or would like further information - just let us know.
